A guy on Beck’s show this morning said that his friend or brother or something was recalled after retiring and was expected to report Jan 1.

Something is in the works I think and I have no idea what it could be.

Retired soldiers are regularly called back to duty. I’ve been called three times already with active duty offers.

Oh, no. Hadn’t you heard that GWB is going to refuse to give up the office and declare “Marshall (sic) Law”? Well, according to some DUmmies.

That's a socialist MO, not a not-quite-Republican one.

Maybe that citizenship thingy is a bigger issue than they thought, or maybe there is a larger Constitutional crisis at stake.

Is this a new action, or does this happen at the end of every year?

From the article (emphasis mine):

This week the Coast Guard and the Air Force announced an increase, while the Army, Navy and Marine Corps announced a decrease.
If this call-up were being done in anticipation of some ominous upcoming event, wouldn't you think that the Army, Navy, and Marines would be involved in it as well?

I am sure GWB is biting at the bit to get out of the rat infested sewer called DC.

It would not surprise me in the least, if he didn't give a interview to the main stream media ever again for the absolute disgraceful way they treated him over the last eight years.

I'd make them beg and the first asinine question: Sorry interview over

Just think about it. The liberals have dug up poor dead Richard Nixon to rack him over the coals just one more time in Frost/Nixon movie. Just think how much they hate Bush

Maybe GW should start charging for any future interviews. I don’t know what the media will do without him to kick. No matter what 0bama does he’ll never be scrutinized like GW and neither will his family.

So true. It will be humorous to watch the dem leadership and the press after several months. Blaming Bush for EVERYTHING will eventually get real stale and they will have to invent (lie) new ways to blame someone.

I'm sure eventually the American people will be the cause of all the woes visited upon the new era of hope and change in the Dem controlled centers of power in DC

We just aren't getting with the program of higher taxes, bailouts and the 'Yes we can" attitude
