A 14-year-old who was trained to kill by radicals in the tribal regions of Pakistan now sits in a crowded classroom at a detention facility in Kabul. His only wish is to see his parents again.
Shakirullah, 14, is convicted of planning to carry out a suicide bombing in Afghanistan.
1 of 3 "I miss my parents, my mom and dad," Shakirullah says in soft tones. Like others in tribal regions, he goes by one name.
Shakirullah is already a convicted terrorist for planning to carry out a suicide bombing. He says Muslim radicals lied and tricked him into becoming a would-be bomber. "I have been detained for trying to commit a suicide attack," he says.
He says his recruiters told him it was his mission as a Muslim to kill British and American soldiers because they were killing Muslims. Watch teen say recruiters "cheated me" »
They told him that once he blew himself up he wouldn't die because God would save him for being a true Muslim.

The kid is ignorant and misguided—because the adults made him that way. Muslim culture destroys societies and produces evil.
I know he would have carried this act out but I feel sorry for the kid. He found out a little too late that this was not a good idea. Kids know only what they are taught.
Not a far cry from what goes on in our so called institutions of higher learning.
Our students are gulled into believing every bad thing that happens in the world is the fault of America in general and President Bush in particular.

For the life of me, I really don’t understand why such a possble recruit doesn’t ask the imam “If martyrdom is so wonderful, why haven’t YOU done it yet?”
Maybe wondered if it was such a glorious honor why weren’t his teachers volunteering.
I'll bet the victims of other bombers wish they could see their loved ones again, too.

yes they will, if this is the only thing they are taught. Think about it.....how would they know anything else. How would they know about freedom, or their right to choose. If they are not taught love and respect for others, how would they know of it. It’s the same prinicple here in the states, if a child is raised in a hatred filled, drug infested home, with no other goodness in his life....what do you get? A grownup that is a theif and a drug addict.

Did you miss the “planning to carry out a suicide bombing” part? We don’t execute 14yr olds (Iran does) and we don’t execute people for planning to do something.
People may not SEE right from wrong, but they KNOW in the hearts right from wrong. People who do not are by definition psychopaths.
