AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush. G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

I think the loss of his wife was weighing heavily on his mind, especially with her having died in the middle of the holiday season and this being the year anniversary....jmho.

Like all of us, he ain’t getting any younger. I noticed he sounded different, but his ideas are as sharp as ever. And I suppose losing his wife has taken a toll. This is the first time he’s subbed in quite a while, isn’t it? How long has it been?

Well, even if he was on his game; I’d rather hear Walt Williams then ever hear Mark Davis again.
I certainly hope he continues to sub.

He has it made and surly knows the scum politicians and their antics and thievery's, however, I have learned more from some of those who sit in on his absenses (Walter Williams just this past week has been very informative concerning the economic collapse) and other conservative non republican talk show hosts.
Happy New Year.

"...Id rather hear Walt Williams then ever hear Mark Davis again" I feels sorry for those poor Freepers in North Texas that have to endure Mark Davis. I lived there for 3 years and it tee'd me off that they would preempt Rush for MD on the radio dial timeslot.

I bet he does! My parents’ cat is going through a pouting phase right now...he doesn’t like the new “Friskies” formula...and he used to only eat Friskies. *L*

I can’t imagine the angry flood of letters a radio station would receive here in KY if they tried that. *L* The only thing that is okay to preempt Rush here is if UK is playing a basketball game...

We have only 3 people here at work today, out of about 20. The traffic was great, and the bandwidth in the office is gigantic.

*LOL* I was fortunate enough to have my office closed today. So I’m sitting at my parents’ helping my mom prep for a baby shower.
I wouldn’t mind working, though, if only 3 people showed up! Things would be easier.
