Palin's daughter Bristol disclosed her pregnancy shortly after she was named as John McCain's running mate and it sparked a national debate on abortion and teen pregnancy. Bristol was named as John McCain's running mate?

Congrats on the Palin family on the birth and for doing the right thing. Outside of the names, this poor kid has a birthday near Christmas! Poor thing.

There are so many jealous people of this wonderful woman.
Even the right have their problems.
I certainly don’t.
Congratulations Grandma Sarah.
Congratulations Bristol and Levi.

Even the right have their problems. I admire the Palin family for sticking to their pro-life principles and insisting on having the baby. Nothing is more refreshing than seeing people who practice what they preach.

She named her oldest son Track because she loves running, Trig I am not sure about, I think its after some singer, Trig Paxton Palin, Tripp, who knows, maybe she named him after Linda Tripp LOL.
Anyways, I am so happy for Bristol and the entire Palin family, after all the hell they went through these past few months I am glad that they got some joy to ring in the new year. God Bless them!!

This woman is great. Face the facts without flinching and give the truth about pregnancy, commitment and God. I wish 10% of the refuse in DC had the moral clarity and personal integrity she has.
Palin in 2012 . . .

And just think they could have taken the easy way out and just aborted. Great family I know what you're saying.... but abortion is not the "easy way out", for mother, unborn child, or family. Women who have had abortions often suffer for years; the unborn child dies; and the family forever is aware of something not quite right, even if they thought it was the right thing at the time.
In my book, that ain't "easy" on anybody.
God bless the folks who follow through on what they started.

There is no BS about her, there is nothing phony about her. What you see is what you get, my kind of woman, she has a strong faith in God, that must freak out the libs. I hope that Sarah runs in 2012, she said in that Canadian interview last night that if she sees an opening to run, she will go for it. That must have put the libs in a tailspin. She is the best thing to come out of this insane election, even though I can’t stand the sight of John McCain anymore he did introduce us all to this remarkable woman and for that I thank him, then I want to punch him in the face for being such a dirt bag.

I, too, am impressed that Sarah Palin’s daughter didn't have an abortion, but this couple should get married ASAP —and should have done so already. It is a very bad sign about where society is headed when two people obviously in love and having a baby feel no pressure to marry before the baby is born. I am a big fan of Sarah Palin and her lovely family, but I am dismayed to see even this good family send the message that whether to marry is a subjective issue. I hope Sarah Palin is exerting pressure behind the scenes to get her daughter and the father of her grandchild to marry.

When Bristol and Levi first told us the shocking news that she was pregnant, to be honest, we all at first looked at the situation with some fear and a bit of despair. Isn’t it just like God to turn those circumstances into such an amazing, joyful blessing when you ask Him to help you through?
“Bristol Palin also commented and said she obviously discourages teen pregnancy and knows that plans she previously made for herself will now forever be changed.
Teenagers need to prevent pregnancy to begin with this isn’t ideal. But I’m fortunate to have a supportive family which is dealing with this together. Tripp is so perfectly precious; we love him with all our hearts. I can’t imagine life without him now,” the young Palin said. “
#####
Wonderfully thoughtful, frank, humble and courageous comments from Governor Palin and her daughter.
Tell me again how it is even remotely possible to despise this woman.
