The Late Great Planet Earth - THE FUTURE FEUHRER
The Late Great Planet Earth ^ | 1970 | Hal Lindsey

Posted on 01/01/2009 11:47:54 AM PST by appleseed

A dictator? Who is a dictator? What makes a dictator? A dictator is a person with absolute authority, a person who has power over people. Does he appear suddenly on the scene and say, “Stop this outmoded democratic process, I am your leader now”? That isn’t the way it happens.

A dictator does not thrust his rule upon people from the top down, without provocation. His tyranny is the end result of chaos in the society that results in his rise to despotic power. The dictionary describes him as a person who seizes the authority over a nation as the result of an emergency.

The power-mad leader of the Third Reich, Adolph Hitler, would not have achieved his terrifying control over the lives of millions if the times had not been ripe for him. In the 1930's the German people were in despair. Economic depression was shaking the foundations of industry. Millions were out of work. Small business enterprises were collapsing. It was a desperate time, with desperate people looking for a way out. Hitler, with his evil genius, knew the mood of the German people. He saw the opportunity to pursue his Putsch in precisely the era that history demanded.

Hitler saw himself as a hero, a savior, a strong man needed by weak underlings-a “great leader” who could guide the Germans to heights of glory, according to his standards. He believed he was above the moral standard of ordinary man. Consequently, he surrounded himself with shady characters of every type. As long as they were useful to him this motley bunch of criminals and sadists were part of the ruling strength of Hitler’s inner circle.

I thought this was interesting. The "hero, a savior, a strong man needed by weak underlings-a “great leader” stuff sounded vaguely familar.

Every time I heard about what a great speaker Obama was, one thought that kept crossing my mind was “Yeah, so was Hitler.”

Actually, only idiots think that Obama is a great speaker. But I guess that’s all it takes.

Yeah. It does sound vaguely familiar. I wonder why?

Well, unfortunately the average American is an idiot, or at the very least uninformed. So there you go.

No, it doesn’t sound “vaguely familiar” and it isn’t similar. It’s dead on target. Very, very scary and not something we’ve just now noticed. And I think that “uninformed” is a better word than “idiots.” Idiots aren’t nearly as dangerous as uninformed folks who believe they’re informed and to whom the power is given in the voting booth. We will now live with the results of “uninformed” and “ignorant” — the idiots aren’t the ones who voted. The idiots are the ones who got elected.

That book changed my life. It was incredibly frightening. The largest selling nonfiction title of the entire decade of the 1970’s.

It's important to note, as well, that part of what guaranteed Hitler's acceptance was that academe raised him on their shoulders.

Since the 1870’s, German academics debated socialism and how to implement it. By the 1930’s, even English intellectuals were on-board with it as a theory. The one question that still remained was: “how to implement it.”

By the 1930’s, the Bolshevik Revolution had come and was seething. The Fabian’s had begun their very long, slow, incremental road toward conquest.

In Germany, however, the impatient and highly arrogant German intelligentsia saw Hitler as the muscle behind their brain. If you track the elections leading up to Hitler's victory, you can see that it was when academe stood solidly behind him, preached ‘his’ version (theirs, really) of economics and state control, that Hitler finally came to power. Yes, the economic mess, caused in large part, many believe, by the onerous and destructive conditions laid down by the Versailles Treaty, contributed largely to Hitler's victory. But it was the final thrust of academe, working with the press, that clenched it for him.

Do not underestimate the power of the classroom in controlling the minds of the people.

We must be more than vigilant, we must be assertive, in not allowing the Left to push the indoctrination of the classroom back to the nursery and preschool, which is their newest expansion of power to separate parental influence from their children.

OR the use of the corporation. The Germans perfected the use of the corporation to further their plans to "perfect" society.

In the book, Lindsey also said, “The way in which this dictator is going to step onto the stage of history will be dramatic. Overnight he will become the byword of the world.”

It would be interesting to find out if new babies born around the world in Hitler’s time were named Adolph. I mean that’s what the blinded do when they put someone on a diety level.

Cover of the book says “#1 best seller of the decade - New York Times”.

I guess that was back when the Times actually reported the news instead of making it.

Obama is nothing but a puppet for the PTB. A mouthpiece.

If he steps out of line, he'll go the way of his idols.

The Late Great Planet Earth - THE FUTURE FEUHRER

That's spelled "Fuehrer" (or "Führer," if your keyboard permits umlauts.)

He has a 76% approval rating before doing anything. The same number think he will *fix* the economy.

He has nowhere to go but down.
