I’m wondering how often it happens behind closed doors. I’ll bet these medics are actually trained to make these decisions. Rationing is an inevitable result of “free” government anything.

I say we start rationing Walter Reed and Bethesda, only active military. NO Congress critters allowed. No former Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs, etc. a VA hospital is good enough for them if it’s good enough for the “troops.”

The aunt of a friend of mine had a clear Do Not Resuscitate order, which my friend gave to the ambulance crew that had come when someone had called EMS for her. The ambulance took the main road to the hospital, but my friend took a different route after gathering some things.
She had to wait a long time before the ambulance arrived. She found out that the medics had pulled over on the way to the hospital and took turns practicing on her aunt. Then they resuscitated her against her will.
