Have you ever taken care of an older person who broke their hip? Have you known anybody who had to? It's usually downhill from there.

Aren't we ALL dependent on human compassion?

New procedures such as hip replacement have done wonders to help the elderly. Breaking a hip is not the death sentence it once was.

Yes we are, but humanist compassion doesn't equate with Christian compassion, which humanists are desperately trying to destroy. I said the day Roe was made law, that old and infirm were next. Welcome to the brave new world. Like the ignored Friday afternoon smoke stacks in Germany, people don't really want to know.
