Anyone who believes that there is not a battle between good and evil in this world is a fool.

No, evil is not battling with God, who is in control, but with those who would follow God and spread His word.

And don't doubt that evil can don a nice smile and obtain power with smooth phrases.

Ski manager shot after professing Christianity (shot for being a Catholic)

Some would think the title is misleading

Can they change the headline ... difference between being ‘shot’ and ‘killed.’ Poor Mr. Mahon unfortunately was killed for his religious beliefs. May his soul rest in peace and his family find comfort.

I am meeting more and more of these anarchist anti-Christian types here in Colorado. One kid I caught stealing a puppy from a pet store when nuts and started screaming, “Christian! You F****** Christian!”

Two people I work with are violent anti-Chrsitan types. Just starting to talk religion, such as something as simple as its history, will send those two into a temper tantrum.

I am sure this is just one more liberal who could not drag himself to make it to 1/20/2009.

You know, Bush’s Last Day?

The last eight years have been so difficult for liberals. They have been under the thumb of government sanctioned religion since Bush came to power, their rights have been trampled by Bush, Cheney and the Religious Right.

The stress of waiting to be free must have been too much for this poor fellow.

/S

(Prayers for this man who was murdered and his family)

One thing that seems to hold true is that secularized people in the USA will go to every extreme to deny that the reason a crazed person kills someone might have to do with the killer having anti-Christian bias or hatred. Even his own words will not make this killer guilty of killing this man because of the man’s faith.

I believe any religion can further mess up your head if you are already disturbed and confused about Truth. Faith is different from religion. What counts is the personal relationship with Jesus Christ through faith. He loved everyone enough to die for them, but for those who reject the sacrifice there is no peace.

I don’t think I could find a priest out there who would not support lying about your faith to a madman, if it would save your life, or the life of someone else.

The Catholic church has long held the view that the insane are not responsible for their actions. But the flip side of this should be the recognition that the insane should only be given the respect that one gives to a dangerous thing.

There is no demand that Catholics stand underneath a tottering boulder, just because a sign beneath it says, “Only Faithful Catholics May Stand Here.”

And the madman is equally mindless as the boulder. It is not his fault if he kills for a reason, or no reason.

A Catholic may choose to be a martyr, or not, when faced against a bloody minded killer, who would kill him for his faith. But this is a different thing entirely.
