How did we get to this point?
Hysteria?
I got to this point via realism. If I take one drink and drive, I could be arrested for DUI. Or, if I have a normal accident, I could be charged with some variety of murder.
That is just flat out not worth the risk.
But truth be told, its not that difficult. We have a designated driver, or celebrate at home only.

You are of the impression that the DUI hysteria is just about booze.
It is not.
You are guilty.
This is a war against mobility and the automobile.
Until you realize that, you are part of the problem.

Did you know that you can now be convicted of DWI if you admit to having consumed any prescription or non-prescription drug, or for just being tired or fat?
Congratulations!
