It was an innocuous sounding comment in what appeared to be a routine television interview. But in the six days since Dmitry Medvedev, Russias president, described his feelings about taking the oath of office in May, the corridors of power have been buzzing.
The final responsibility for what happens in the country and for the important decisions taken would rest on my shoulders alone and I would not be able to share this responsibility with anyone, Mr Medvedev told an interviewer.

One of those infamous Russian KGB “colds” should put Medvedev in the ground ...
His days are numbered.
Oh, imagine that , Vlad likes his puppets to be seen and not heard!!!!!
A Russian night of the long knives?

BS to give the appearance of Medvedevs sovereignity. He is nothing but a puppet. Putin calls the shots and everyone knows it.
Trouble in paradise.... I wonder who gets the kids?
They’ll get a dose of dioxin if they don’t.
Medvedev has big brass ones. He is taking on Putie and it will be a DeathMatch he is sure to lose. KGB is like a mixture of a Fraternity, The Mafia, The Masons, CIA, Trial Lawyers lobby, and any large government bureaucracy, morfed into a monstrously huge organization with no laws constraining it. If you missed the Cold War days of Stalin and the Soviet Union’s brutality, you just may see an encore.
Unfortunately, that also means they will need “Glavni Vrag”, or “the main enemy” to play it’s part to justify the brutality, and that main enemy is US.
