Veterans, Warriors and Heroes, not Victims
Those that need help must receive it. No need to "victimize" the rest.
No one is saying to play them as “hapless victims” but that we should “pledge our commitment to our wounded warriors.”
This means giving them and their families the continuum and consistancy of care they deserve to make them well.
What happened at Walter Reed, and at VA facilities across the country was a result of NOT being committed to their treatment.
