Freeper Moonman has passed away
Posted on 12/30/2008 11:48:49 PM PST by Jim Robinson
Hello Jim,
My name is Gail Cook and I am Moonman's wife. Moon passed away on Saturday morning after a long illness with Cancer. He loved this site, he loved being a Freeper. I noticed that he made a comment the day before he died, and it made me cry. Is there a way you can let the members know that Moon is now with the Lord in his new heavenly home? He was 58 years young, married for 32 years, was a loving husband and father to two children a daughter Kelly and his son, Justin. Also two little grandson's. He loved this country, and was an amazing American.
Thanks Jim for considering my request.
Mrs. Moon Cook

If you find the pictures, maybe you could have Jim add one to his memorial at the memorial link.

"I also have Cancer Stage 4 and I am also battling it ala Tony Snow mode."
Best of well-wishes and prayers are with you.
Ditto here. I am stage #4 also. Beginning of June, I was given 6-months to a year and a second opinion of 3-6 months. I hope the first one is correct.
Thanks to our great health care system, neither I nor my wife, kids or rest of family have to worry about estate taxes after my death.
You will have a name when we meet soon!:)

I’m so sorry to hear this news. And I join with all the others here lifting Gail and all the loved ones up to God for His peace, blessing and guidance as they deal with our FRiend’s homegoing.

Eternal rest grant unto your faithful son, Moon, O Lord. May he rest in peace. Amen.
Mrs. Moon—my heartfelt condolences to you and your children. It’s so sad for all of us when a good patriotic FReeper dies.
May his torch of patriotism and love for America be passed on to his children!
