Interesting comment. What was her baggage? That had any real substance? A bunch of stuff that had no credibility really was thrown out by every pundit in the news and TV talk shows.
She was actually squeaky clean. It is always possible to make false accusations. Groundless ones seem to work; and many of the politicians that have blatant misconduct seem to have it roll off their backs with little or no press regarding said corruption.
We are a gullible lot.
