Ilove it when nice Americans of Christian faith have babies too. I am just surprised that Christian names aren’t used for the children. Oh well, to each their own.

I’m not sure what you mean by “Christian” names. Common? Biblical?

My last two boys’ names came about by my thinking of the Bible and names I liked (in order). First name in the Old Testament I liked — Joshua. In the New Testament. Easy. Book of Matthew. Actually, I was kicking around the name Matthew and possibly Thomas, plus a few others, but never settled on anything. My oldest son (then 10) named the fifth baby Matthew Thomas.
