Not quite following the “logic”............No one was “lashing out”, I simply read what Vermont (socialist state btw) said about SP and recommended that they troll on more fertile ground. CARepublicans concurred. No one “lashed out”. One who leans right of center may prefer a candidate other than SP but to proclaim one’s self “sick of her” as Vermont (socialist state btw) did??? I stand by my original response: Should find a willing and able amen corner at the HuffoPost, MoveIt.Ogre, or the Dilly Dally.KOS——pick your poison.****

Another good response! ROTFLMAO!

I don’t care about Alaska. McCain pretends to be conservative in Arizona, too. I do know that she is a big spender when it comes to federal government.

Hello! That is NOT CONSERVATIVE.

She is a faker, just like all the other RINOs.

She wants to break the “glass ceiling” and she’ll say and do whatever advances her career. She is a Feminist.

If that’s all you’ve got to say, I’ll take it as agreement on Palin.

Yeah, you only care about bashing Sarah Palin.

PUT UP or SHUT UP.

Hello! That is NOT CONSERVATIVE.***

Hellooooo? She IS Conservative - that’s why she needles Libtards like you.

She is a faker, just like all the other RINOs.***

And no wonder Michael Reagan said Palin is very much like his father.

She wants to break the “glass ceiling” and she’ll say and do whatever advances her career. She is a Feminist.***

Venus envy eh? Suggest you scrurry back to DU, instead of posting drivel here.

Sarah Palin is a big government spender, and she wants to spend taxpayer money on her personal interests:

Oct. 24, 2008:
In her first policy address since joining the Republican ticket, Sarah Palin called for parents of special needs children to use federal funding to pick the school of their choice...

Palin also called for full federal funding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, phasing in an additional $15 billion in funding over five years. (snip)

Sarah needs to hit the books, hang out with some folks who know something about foreign policy (I keep saying Kissinger, but even James Baker would be a good start, STAY AWAY FROM THE NEOCONS!), and travel the country to get to know folks who aren’t from the Alaskan mileau.

These are the folks she was with on the campaign trail. Imagine who she would include in the “Palin Administration”:

“Palin surrounded herself onstage with two higher-profile defectors from Sen. Hillary Clinton’s camp — Lynn Rothschild, a member of the Democratic Platform Committee, and Elaine Lafferty, a former editor-in-chief of Ms. Magazine — along with Shelly Mandell, the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women, Linda Klinge, the vice president of Oregon’s NOW chapter and Prameela Bartholomeusz, a small business owner and member of the Democratic National Platform Committee....”

MORE BALONEY from Venus envy!! Stop spreading your toxic waste here. FACT: She vetoed nearly half a billion dollars in wasteful spending. (Sep 2008)

Oct. 24, 2008:
In her first policy address since joining the Republican ticket, Sarah Palin called for parents of special needs children to use federal funding to pick the school of their choice...***

That was to be her role as VP - duh! And exactly what’s wrong with using federal funding for kids with disbilities to pick schools of their choice? Are you a heartless creature?

Palin also called for full federal funding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, phasing in an additional $15 billion in funding over five years.***

And so? Kids with disablities should be thrown into the trash?? She sold previous governor’s jet on eBay—it’s impractical. (Dec 2006) Did not accept any pay raise ( 2008) $7 billion savings plan for education & transportation. (Dec 2007)
Reduced general fund spending by $124 million. (Mar 2007) Program of $1,200 to every Alaskan: spent on consumer goods. (Sep 2008) Reduced general fund spending by $124 million. (Mar 2007)

Hellooooo?? Wakey wakey. SARAH PALIN UNDERSTANDS SMALL TOWN AMERICA.
SAN DIEGO, California (CNN) — During the presidential election, some Democrats demanded to know how I could defend Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Simply put, Palin is my people. She’s small-town folk who wound up in the big leagues.

Because I grew up in a small town with a population of less than 15,000 people, I was disgusted by the insults and condescension coming from those who think of themselves as the enlightened elite. Meanwhile, in small towns, I detected great affection for Palin. People talked about how she was “a real person” who “reflected their values.”

“Her 2009 calendar is currently the number one best selling office product at Amazon.com.

Just imagine how this must be galling liberal press members who can’t understand her popularity.

Of course, the cynic — or the realist depending on your point of view — might believe that media very much understand why she’s so popular, and that’s why they hate her so much.” Newbusters

She has also been nominated “Conservative of the Year”

Zogby poll shows Sarah as the TOP 2012 Contender.

Yeah right - nobody knows about her. Only in your dreams.

So, a bunch of conservatives buy a calendar. You realize that outside of our little ghetto, she was seen as a drag on the ticket.

Sarah runs using a Minnie Pearl persona, and we get 40% of the vote, tops.

So, a bunch of conservatives buy a calendar. You realize that outside of our little ghetto, she was seen as a drag on the ticket.***

You must really STOP regurgitating Liberal talking points here. It ain’t going to work here. Too bad you’ve gotton brainwashed. Face REALITY now: McCain tanked the 2008 Election. Conservatives can be thankful that he brought Gov Palin into the spotlight. Palin SAVED GOP from LANDSLIDE DEFEAT!! Dick Morris analysis:
*Sarah Palin made a vast difference in McCain’s favor. Compared to 2004, McCain lost 11 points among white men, according to the Fox News exit poll, but only four points among white women. Obama’s underperformance among white women, evident throughout the fall, may be chalked up, in large part, to the influence of Sarah Palin. She provided a rallying point for women who saw their political agenda in terms larger than abortion. She addressed the question of what it is like to be a working mother in today’s economy and society and resonated with tens of millions of white women who have not responded to the more traditional, and liberal, advocates for their gender.*

Sarah runs using a Minnie Pearl persona, and we get 40% of the vote, tops.***

You’ve have got next to zero WITHOUT Sarah Palin. “”The turnout efforts of groups like ACORN made a huge difference. Ultimately, it was the difference in voter turnout among Republicans and Democrats that, in addition to the higher black vote, elected Obama. According to Curtis Gans of American University, Republican turnout dropped from 30 percent in 2004 to 28.7 percent of the electorate in 2008, while the Democratic proportion of voters rose from 28.7 percent to 31.3 percent. Much of this increase came from newly registered voters, many as a result of ACORN’s efforts. Voter registration rose by 6 million in 2008, which may have accounted for virtually all the increase in turnout.

The message for conservatives is clear: The focus of Democrats on grassroots activism, begun in 1998 by MoveOn.org, was crucial to the Obama election. Instead of relying on the Republican Party to carry the message to the electorate, conservatives must organize their own grassroots movements — like GOPTrust.com — and boost turnout and enthusiasm among those who share their worldview. The backbreaking tasks of registering voters and getting out the vote are key to winning elections in the post-media era. Online networking and building of cyber-roots organizations is the way to go in competing in the new politics we face today.””
