Growing up in MN the land of liberals and Scandinavians....I guess that would make them liberal Scandinavians....anyway,there was a lot of good natured joking about who is smarter, better, stronger sexier among the Swedes and those darn Norwegians.....yup I am a Swede
well can you get another dog
I just met 4 month old Rhody on one of our walks, he gets tons of exercise and a very sweet and enthusiastic dog......
Thank God they were elkhounds. This man knows how to pick a dog breed. They are genetically programmed to drive elk from the yard.
So...B-Ho says suvs are no mo and gotta go?? Whoa!
;-)
One of our neighbors was driving north on Rte 12 in Vermont in a VW Beetle when a moose stepped into the road in front of him. He managed to come to a screeching halt, but the moose was angry about it, so it sat on the Beetle and squashed the roof. Luckily no one was hurt.
It’s nonsense. Like Haagen Das!
Shoo(t) is the only way, then gut, skin, and hang in the barn!
Below, this poor old guy got stomped to death by a moose, caught on film. What’s odd is people walk by, and do nothing to help:

What is their viscosity?
Nope, I’ve had both an Akita and an Elk Hound and that is definitely an Elk Hound. Great dogs! A little aggressive toward strangers but very loyal to the family. Neither of mine tried to bite strangers but they were very protective. Their look is similar to the Akita but the Elk Hound is more like an Alaskan Malamute. My Akita had a similar tail but looked more like a bear and was BIG.
In Scandanavia, no one likes the Swedes. They are the Manhattanites - pushy and arrogant. Their football teams (soccer) always beats Norway and Danmark (sorth of like the Yankees). It’s a friendly rivalry. Being 1/2 Danish heritage, I fight the good fight. ;-)
Maybe it was just hot outside.
This is a Keeshond. It looks almost exactly like an Elkhound, but has a longer and a bit of a thicker coat:
Hey. Whatever needs to be done!
Now that looks like one sweet baby! :-)
He’s not mine, but you can look at his expression and tell what a sweet old guy he is, like the majority of his breed. The Keeshond is a Dutch breed, and unlike the Elkhound, is not a hound, although many people want to misspell the breed “Keeshound”.
The 75-year-old man was trying to shoo the elk from his yard...
DOGGIE PING
PS — Joe, I guess you are still on “doggie-ping” vacation, so I am pinging the list.
