KIDS & HUBBY ARE ALL ABOARD RUN FOR SENATE - AND OBAMA'S 'ENCOURAGING' They're virtually unknown to New Yorkers, but the husband and children of Caroline Kennedy - the woman with one of the most famous names in American politics - are also dreaming of bringing back Camelot.
Q&A With Caroline Kennedy
In a sit-down with The Post, President John F. Kennedy's daughter, who has spent years guarding her family's privacy, said her three children - Rose, 20, Tatiana, 18, and John, 15 - and husband Edwin Schlossberg completely back her effort to be appointed to the Senate seat of Secretary of State nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton, although they realize it will mean a family adjustment.
In the 40-minute interview, Kennedy also said President-elect Barack Obama had been "encouraging" when she spoke to him about the seat. She also said Mayor Bloomberg's maneuver to repeal term limits would have been better handled through a voter referendum, and all but acknowledged that she used drugs decades ago.

“Run” for Senate? Are they implying that she is actually campaigning? I thought she was merely angling for an appointment.
Politics aside, her manner of speech is beyond annoying. Every sentence is peppered with a few “you knows.” She comes across as an airhead.

This would seem to be a Democrat prerequisite. Thus, she is eminently qualified.

Paterson -——use a phone book (don't even care what city) and and a dart. I guarantee the person “selected” in that manner will have more experience and understanding of those he/she would represent, than Ms. Schlossberg.
What is it with the Kennedy women? They all look like they’ve been rode hard and put away wet. For such a prominent family they sure have some crappy genes.

Yep the Kennedy and Bush clans are scrambling to find someone to step up and keep the family name in politics. After all they must look after the populace as they seem to think it is their appointed duty in life. jmo.
The question is did she ever stop or is she following the Patches path to Congressional success.

(A former friend who was in AA once mentioned that a whole passel of Kennedy-clan junkies and drunks would often show up at his meetings around Boston, and he said they were always rather boisterous and rude).

I’m really starting to wonder if New Yorker’s even care about politics at all. First, Hillary carpet bags them, now this. It’s hard to believe they put up with these kind of insults.
