In spite of RNC Chairman Robert M. "Mike" Duncan's sharply negative reaction, former Tennessee GOP leader Chip Saltsman said that party leaders should stand up to criticism over distributing a CD with the song. He earlier defended the tune as one of several "lighthearted political parodies" that have aired on Rush Limbaugh's radio show.
......
"The 2008 election was a wake-up call for Republicans to reach out and bring more people into our party," Duncan said in a statement. "I am shocked and appalled that anyone would think this is appropriate as it clearly does not move us in the right direction."

Uh..let me think...The “reach out” candidate got 1.6% of the black vote. Are the totally insane?

Please post where we can get a vopy of this CD. Then it should be posted on U-Tube with some video.

You won’t leave the Party? I did. Or it left me.

There is one thing that liberals hate and that is being parodied, satired and made fun of. They know their positions have no merit and can only succeed by duping the American public (cf the recent election where “Hope” was what people voted for...is that not ample proof?).
So for the next four years, let’s make fun of, parody, circulate jokes, draw cartoons, of this lunatic Democrat regime pointing out just how ridiculous their election was. There is plenty of material to work with. So let the creative juices flow

Mike Duncan is one of the FIRST dumbass moderates who should be kicked OUT of the party. Moderates are what give the republican party the moniker, "The Stupid Party!" Until the majority of moderate lame prix are forced out, the republican party is useless. Why these moderates STILL do not get the fact the DBM/dems are going to treat republicans with disdain NO MATTER WHAT WE DO!!
For all the diverse, big tent talk it sure hasn't done ANYTHING to advance the party, and has ONLY set it back!
When are conservatives going to ACT?!

Actually, Tennessee is one of only a few states that is on the fast track to becoming RED. For the first time since reconstruction, Tn. has an all Republican state house and majority leader.
Don't lump Mr. Saltsman in with the run of the mill Rino’s.

That parody was only one of many on the CD. Millions of people, including liberals, heard it many times before on Rush's show. This "outrage" was generated by operatives within the Republican Party to discredit Saltsman and knock him out of the running for chairman.
Laughter and derision is the best weapon to use against the insanity of the left. In addition to trivializing them, it drives them crazy (which isn't a very long trip).

And, Paul Shanklin will be laughing all the way to the bank.
He's a Memphis local, and we love him to death.

Our unified answer to the marxist enforcers should be... “PI$$ OFF A$$HOLES”! When they repeal the First Amendment... then they can legally shut us up! Until then... screw them!

Duncan is a Class-A idiot. Typical milquetoast, groveling Republican apologizing for something that was created and produced in a liberal newsrag by a liberal.
Stop supporting the RNC folks, and donate directly to conservative candidates.

Sorry, I wasn’t attempting to do that at all. I was thrilled that someone finally said, basically, “Get a grip, people!”
What I’m sick of are the members of the party that issue “shocked and appalled” statements over every little thing. The time and energy we waste apologizing over ridiculous charges and accusations could certainly be better used.
“I am shocked and appalled that Senator So-and-So eats the white cream filling of an Oreo cookie first. I can only say I was deeply saddened and embarrassed when the fact was brought to my attention.”
