2008 was the year man-made global warming was disproved
The Daily Telegraph ^ | 27 Dec 2008 | Christopher Booker

Looking back over my columns of the past 12 months, one of their major themes was neatly encapsulated by two recent items from The Daily Telegraph.

The first, on May 21, headed "Climate change threat to Alpine ski resorts" , reported that the entire Alpine "winter sports industry" could soon "grind to a halt for lack of snow". The second, on December 19, headed "The Alps have best snow conditions in a generation" , reported that this winter's Alpine snowfalls "look set to beat all records by New Year's Day".

< -snip- >

Suddenly it has become rather less appealing that we should divert trillions of dollars, pounds and euros into the fantasy that we could reduce emissions of carbon dioxide by 80 per cent. All those grandiose projects for "emissions trading", "carbon capture", building tens of thousands more useless wind turbines, switching vast areas of farmland from producing food to "biofuels", are being exposed as no more than enormously damaging and futile gestures, costing astronomic sums we no longer possess.

Global warming causes global cooling so don’t expect the AGW nutcases to clam up anytime soon.

Algore’s dream of a family fortune resulting from his “global warming” scam is slipping away with each passing cold front.

Global warming causes global cooling...

That's right, and if the temperature stays constant, why, that's just the superposition of the effects of global warming and global cooling. Both of which require the elimination of capitalism, along with an 80% reduction of the world's population. Duh.

Unfortunately, he’s already made enough tens of millions to constitute a family fortune. There was already plenty of money from Armand Hammer, owner of Algore, Sr. And Karenna Gore Schiff married some very big, very old money. Jabob Schiff, her great-great-grandfather-in-law, financed Lenin.

Does this mean that Al Gore is going to have to dream up a new religion?

What Madoff is to finance Gore is to global warming.

It has lost none of it’s appeal to the totalitarians of the world. They still think it’s a great idea.

Looks like many areas around Los Angeles are freezing tonight. Will put out a cup of water tonight and verify that. And we are not even 1 week into winter. If Global Warming had indeed been occurring the past 10 years, Greater Los Angeles at my altitude of about 900 feet, would not be freezing 6 days into winter.

Just can’t seem to get that word out.

The elites will never give up the scam. The mythological stories are necessary for their secular gods to be promoted and therefore increase their power and control over us.

Once the faux leader takes over, his communist minions in the cabinet will run roughshod over the US citizenry. Raising gas taxes, cutting oil exploration and totally selling us out to the Chinese and Russians by manufacturing this huge transfer of wealth to other countries and the UN via "carbon credits".

The next four years are going to really, really suck.
