The media and Democrats might hate Sarah Palin, but her 2009 calendar is currently the number one best selling office product at Amazon.com.
Just imagine how this must be galling liberal press members who can't understand her popularity.
Of course, the cynic -- or the realist depending on your point of view -- might believe that media very much understand why she's so popular, and that's why they hate her so much.

You mean since Nixon lost as presidential candidate in 1960 (I know, bad parallel)? As VP, it would be Cox/FDR losing in 1920 to Harding/Coolidge.
All bets are off as far as history goes. Do you remember the last time a communist and/or non natural born citizen was elected President?
McCain was a loathsome RINO squish that nobody except the eastern establishment bedwetters wanted. His greatest desire (judging by his campaign) was to lose honorably. He will be remembered for Sarah and that’s about it.
My radar says that if “they” hate her, she must be great.

I agree. I think we can all agree that Sarah is attractive, but I would like her the same if she was a male. This kind of stuff will continue to feed the masses the notion that she is not a serious candidate, but just a “bimbo”. We need to focus on the Sarah the person, not the gender.
Look up the word “Populist” and you will understand who Sarah Palin is. A “Populist” is not the same as a “conservative”. Most people don’t know the differnce. People are so terribly dumbed down ... . A “Populist” is not what we need.

I know the difference between the two. What I need to do is read what her positions are on various issues, besides abortion, 2nd amendment, which I know.
As I am sure you are aware, there are other issues. And I would like to her what she has to say.
Thank you for listing a path that makes sense! Dont’ get me wrong, I was very pleased with Gov. Palin’s nomination and would be delighted to see her as a serious nominee, but I don’t want to see her “annointed” before she has earned her stripes!
I agree — she needs to continue to run the state of Alaska as a fiscal conservative, then get out there and fire up the base, take some shots, learn to field them, and then be battle ready in 12

This is the point I am trying to make, the left don’t bash Huckabee, they don’t say anything nasty about Romney, or Sanford, or Jindal, or Huntsman, these are all supposed conservatives, they ONLY bash Sarah, say nasty things about her, Huckabee ran for President, so did Romney, yet not the hate from the left like they hate Sarah, the left are terrified of her, her charisma, her ability to bring people to her, her likability, her conservative views, pro-life, pro 2nd amendment, if the left were making nasty comments about Huckabee I’d say “Ok I guess they just hate everyone on the right” but nope, I don’t see the kind of venom that I see towards Sarah from the left, so I smell fear from them, and if we are smelling fear from the left then that means we have a great chance in coming back and taking back the White House in 2012 with Sarah as our nominee

The left shouldn’t bash any of our guys but the point is that they are ONLY targeting Sarah so that tells me that she has hit a nerve with the leftist elite. You have a-holes like Barbara Walters saying she is “not informed” that means in their language she did not go to an ivy league school such as Harvard or Yale, she went to Idaho State University, in their minds that is not a school for “informed” people to go. They also dislike her because she was the ONLY one in the McCain campaign that had the balls, the guts to stand up and speak out against Obama and his associations, once she did that the attack dogs were out in full force to get her. She had to do it, no one else would, especially the guy on the top of the ticket who would rather be “friends” with the opposition then someone who looked presidential and fought for us
Hillary Clinton. I have a hard time believing that, but that is what they say.
