(To the tune Let it Snow)
Oh the weather outside is frightful. But to the skeptics its so delightful. Temps have dropped down low. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Al Gore promised global warming. But instead its been cold and storming. And solar activity has dropped way low. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Since sunspots have dropped out of sight. A Global Cooling trend has started to form. Proves the skeptics are proven right, More CO2 does not cause Earth to warm.
The Solar Cycle is still slowly dying, And Global Warming we are good-bying. So as long as sunspots stay at zero, Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
But this spoof was a delightful carol.
By the way, sunspots are still zero - 2008 is in second place in the past 120 years for "days with no sunspots"; with 2007 also in the top ten years since 1900.
The coolest part of the centuries since 1890 (1890 through 1917) have the most clear days - This does not look good for future temperatures in the next twenty years.
It’s 57 here today in the Chicago suburbs.
Of course, it’s supposed to snow again tonight, but in the meantime...
We hit 80 in Central Texas yesterday — a muggy, humid, sticky extremely windy 80. Two large trees on the street were uprooted and a few sections of stockade fence down here and there. Nothing pleasant about it but I hesitate to gripe when I see what much of the country is dealing with. Today a “cold” front blew in so it’s still windy, but about ten degrees cooler.
Fine ... GET ALBORE over here ... I still have 15 inches of GLOBULL Warming to shovel from my DRIVEWAY!!
*&#$%&!!!! global warming!
;^)
Living in Alaska is always a challenge. Wish I was younger, though. My bones are creaking. And I'm learning that the weather guys are just as wrong just as often now as they were 25 years ago. It was supposed to be down into single digits today. It's 19 and blowing a gale.

Here in central PA it’s pushing 50 degrees and last week we had a 60 degree day. Tomorrow may hit 60 also.
Here in Portland, Oregon I’m thinking that I might be able to get my car out of the driveway for the first time in over a week. I have to do this because my dog cut her foot on some ice this morning and I’ve got to get her to the vet.
We set a record for the most snow ever on Christmas and a few other records as well. Still, I think it would be harder to live with the humidity in Texas so I guess I shouldn’t complain.
Well stop using fossil fuels and the problem will disappear.
Here in California we are not experiencing a balmy winter.
Almost 70 here in Cinci today.
The mine fire in Centralia has been burning for over 40 years!
Here in Chicagoland (the burbs) it’s been two weeks of constant snowing, followed by ice, followed by extreme fog last nite and this morning, and rain, and now almost 60 degrees today, then down to 30 tomorrow, then in the 30’s most of the week. Totally schizophrenic weather. But, on the average, it’s been very cold (and windy) here, and generally rotten. Feel sorry for the retail stores as many have been empty due to the rotten weather and driving conditions up to this very day.
Well that solves it. Now we know why you are so warm.
I wish someone could count how many of ALBORE’s appearances had to be Cancelled due to ... Inclement Weather.
Seems everytime he opens his mouth, someplace gets SNOWED IN!!
Cute
It’s 53 here today, should be in the 60’s tomorrow.
Please send me some SNOW (NJ)
Thanks!
I hope you can get her to the vet. I guess we are all dealing with one extreme or the other. This sort of heat and humidity isn’t normal for us this time of the year. I don’t deal well with the heat and look forward to the cooler months so feel cheated when I have to put up with it during December, lol.
