"Do you do any farming? Im thinking worst case, a chicken coop, some rabbits, some gardening..." I have the capability. In fact, I've already bought my seeds and fertlizer to beat the spring 'stampede' for those items.

Interestingly enough, Celente started his career during the Iran hostage crisis. He saw the game in DC during Carter with the way the Shah was being portrayed. A series of events led him to become a ‘political atheist’. He saw enough BS behind the scenes to lose all faith in either party, and the US political system in general.

Thanks blam. Been there, do that.
Only reget we have after retiring was selling our wood furnace and going to coal. Have to buy coal, the wood would have been free.

Celente is a hack. Just look at the back of cover copy on amazon.com's "look inside the book" feature of his 1998 book on predictions for the millennium. Essentially every prediction he made was wrong.
Like TV psychics, he just makes dozens and dozens of predictions, usually vague and subject to interpretation. Some percentage of them turn out to be reasonably correct and he highlights only those in his press releases.
Nothing to see here, move along.

LOL!
I thought that was just a one-off, but your tagline makes it even better.
