He stands by that too. He did predict the insurgency when the US government did not. After reading carefully his claims about that, I tend to agree that he was right in his specific predictions.

Bambi can make that one a reality, unfortunately.

I listened to it — interesting, but I notice that he blames everything on Wall Street and NOTHING on the out of control government. He also mentioned how “advanced” Europeans are.

Obviously the guy is a big Lib.

I learned a lot form the Y2K collapse. There are a lot of things to do protect yourself form things. There have been a lot of disasters that people have survived. You have a choice to be a victim or survivor.

No, he’s a “political atheist” by his own description. He has no dog in the Rep/Dem fight. He doesn’t like politicians at all though. I’ve been listening to him a little bit on Youtube. Interesting guy.

Agreed.

For my part, I just post this stuff so people won’t be blindsided, should the worst occur.

I listened too. First time I've heard of this guy.

I'm not so sure he is a lib. Reminds of the pre-Buckley conservatives that opposed the New Deal because of it's emphasis on consumerism and materialism. People like Sen Taft.

And as far as only blaming Wall Street; he clearly believes that the bankers ( aka Wall Street ) have taken over the government and used the power of the state to rob the country blind. IMO nothing about beleving that idea would make him a lib.

Lets face facts, Hank Paulson IS a double dealing criminal who has actually sold the country out to the Banks, foriegn and domestic. Conservatives have been saying that for yrs.

There is a lot of information out there on what to do. Unfortunately one person can not find it all. I think that we will have another bank melt down or two in about 5 years. I think the fed will eventually go broke and relieve us to the national debt. I think the next bank disaster will be the collapse of the derivatives.

Paulson could not do what is he doing had not the CONGRESS made him arguably the most powerful man in the US. Read the preamble to the “bailout” bill — the treasury secy, whoever he may be, can do whatever he deems necessary to “insure the welfare of the US”. A court could interpret that to mean about anything.

In the whole 20 minutes of the tape, the guy does not place any blame whatsoever on the government — all on corporations and Wall Street. That makes the guy a Lib. It is the govmint passing out the money. I don’t blame businesses so much for taking it. I blame the guvmint for printing money irresponsibly and passing it out.

Notice that he also did not place any blame on his buddies, the Democrat controlled Congress and their cohorts in F Mac and F Mae for getting us in this mess.

He also praised the Europeans for being “advanced”. I didn’t comment on whether or not his predictions have been correct or not — haven’t studied that — perhaps they have. But bottom line, the guy is a Lib. You are ignoring all the clues to that fact.

No one EVER blames the moronic policies that come out of Washington...in fact, when they screw things up bad enough, there they are with new proposals to ‘fix it’...

90% of the problems in our country originate from the stupid policies of our liberal government.
