That Star Trek episode about the planet with the never-ending civil war “fought” via computer simulations and pro-forma rituals was crazy at the time. Now it’s practically a model for the Israel-”Palestine” kabuki theater that they pretend is a stalemate.

I understand Olmert being hesitant, after all Hamas has no problem standing behind women and children using them as fodder then Israel does attack
It's a tough decision knowing you will kill basically innocent people
Once he acts it should be with extreme measures so it isn't protracted
