Remember Wade Sanders? He was one of the "band of brothers"--Swift Boat veterans who supported John Kerry's presidential campaign and appeared onstage at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
Sanders was one of Kerry's nastiest surrogates. In August 2004, he likened the president to a "trapped animal." In September, he compared Karl Rove and Swift Boat Veterans for Truth chief John O'Neill to Josef Goebbels. He repeatedly referred to the president and his men as "chicken hawks," an especially nasty term because it is slang for a child molester as well as a derisive term for a nonveteran who favors a strong defense.
Sanders, who also served as a deputy assistant Navy secretary during the Clinton administration, continued his anti-Bush campaign even after Kerry's defeat. In a December 2004 op-ed for the San Diego Union-Tribune, he lectured the president on "the heavy responsibility of command":
Sir, with all due respect, you would be well advised to acquaint yourself with the level of responsibility and accountability that accompany the title. If you really want to fill those shoes, if you want to parade about in uniform, if you want to use our men and women in uniform as your personal props, then please honor moral and ethical standards that go with the job.
Sanders is back in the news. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that he "pleaded guilty yesterday to a federal charge of possessing child pornography".
Sanders acknowledged in court that he had "possessed computer files containing 600 images of minors, including a 21-minute video that depicted girls engaging in sex acts with an adult man."
Sanders, a lawyer, said he didn't realize federal child pornography laws barred downloading or viewing the material even by researchers. He said that is why he decided to plead guilty.

... I wondered at the time if he was the one that got Kerry's documents through Lehman's office and was trying to figure out how long he had been in the medal business. I couldn't prove anything, so I dropped my research. ... ----------Wade Sanders - (Re: Kerry citation a 'total mystery' to ex-Navy chief (John Lehman)) From calcowgirl , 08/28/2004 9:49:54 PM PDT new
Peter Townshend?
Scott Ritter is another Democrat pedophile who got nailed.
I think he’s into little girls, though.
{{Sanders' connection with Kerry dates back to before when the two served in Vietnam. Sanders and David Thorn, Kerry's brother-in-law, were shipmates and shared an apartment in Belmont Shore, where Kerry "became a resident of our couch," according to Sanders.
Through the years, Sanders said he and Kerry have remained friends. Sanders, who was a former deputy assistant secretary of the Navy, has been campaigning for Kerry across the country. He has also been critical of Bush on veterans' issues for many years.}}

Hey Wade?!? Is Bernie Ward going to be your ‘catcher’ or the ‘pitcher’?
Calling Chrissy Matthews, time to host a Federal Prison Edition of “Let’s Play Hardball”, w/Sanders & Ward!
Two scumbags that truly deserve each other.
"I felt fear," Bjelke said. "Taking care of those things would mean dealing with something I didn't want to deal with. It might hurt me." So, he avoided it until he learned he could face his problems with the help of another Vietnam vet.
He found that vet through the weekly legal clinic run by the Vietnam Veterans Outreach Program, 2900 Sixth Ave. Wade Sanders, a local lawyer who served three years in Vietnam with the Navy, fast told Bjelke he understood his discomfort and mistrust. He then advised him on legal moves to clear his past.
"It was one of those times when Vietnam veterans hung on to each other," said Bjelke. "I thought it was real good of him to offer his services."
Sanders, who founded the clinic at the Veterans Administration Center five years ago, offers his services free of charge there every Wednesday night. Working alone, he starts at 5 p.m. and ends "whenever the last person walks through the door." In the course of hundreds of hours of work, he has helped hundreds of San Diego County vets who often didn't feel comfortable turning elsewhere. The legal problems he hears run the gamut, from unpaid parking tickets and child custody troubles to credit difficulties and business woes. Some vets ask his advice when purchasing real estate, others when starting businesses.
Though their legal problems vary, their personal issues are often the same.
"They have a deep and abiding feat of the bureaucratic system," Sanders said. "The government did not serve them well in the past. They don't trust it, and they may be terrified of it"
Yep.
"Townshend claimed he accessed the Web sites because he was researching material for his autobiography, which will include passages about his abusive childhood. In his statement, he said he thinks he may have been sexually abused between the ages of 5 and 6 while in the care of his maternal grandmother, who was mentally ill.

The LIBRATS mantra is to accuse others of the very things they are aggressive engaging in. (e.g. “Culture of Corruption”, “Intolerance of Others”, “Lies”, “Secretive Governement”, “Trading on Influence”...)
