In the midst of two wars and an intensifying economic meltdown, Barack Obama had to take time off last week to answer questions from federal prosecutors...

Note to the AP: Barack Hussein Obama is in the middle of nothing but planning his transition. He has no responsibility for dealing with the two major fronts of the war on terror, nor the economy. He is a private citizen.

Can anyone imagine the AP writing a sympathetic intro like that for President Bush whenever he has faced questioning by investigators? I don't think so.

Well, the AP is already treating him as though he were in office. I have heard several talking heads note that Barry’s honeymoon period has already started an that he is using-up this period quickly.

Did he actually have to answers questions from a federal prosecutor or did he just have his lawyer,Gregory Craig prepare a report after he spoke with each of the transition staff.

From Craig cover letter To Obama:
“At your direction, I arranged for transition staff to provide accounts of any contacts that they may have had with Governor BLagojevich or his office in which the subject of your seccessor came up.”

That doesn’t sound like they were being interviewed by a federal prosecutor to me.
