In thousands of news articles and talk shows around the world today from Bulgaria to India, Pope Benedict XVI is being bashed for daring to say we should care as much for mankind as the tropical rainforests; that the harm caused by going against the Creator's plan for human sexuality is destructive and hurtful. In truth, he is being pilloried for having enough love to tell his brothers and sisters struggling with same-sex attraction, promiscuity, pornography, adultery and more, that their behavior is hurting them and society at large. It is hurting them physically, psychologically, but most importantly - hurting them spiritually.
The homosexual press has the most outrageous headlines on the topic; Pink News in the UK screams: "Pope Benedict learnt nothing from his time in the Hitler Youth" and "Pope Benedict's latest outburst 'justifies' homophobic bullying and attacks". But the coverage in the mainstream press is hardly less offensive. A San Fransico Chronicle headline reads, "Pope Benedict at Christmas: Preaching bigotry disguised as compassion", and the Times of London opines: "Christmas was never meant to be about this".
Interesting to note is the fact that nowhere in the Pope's remark did he even use the word 'homosexual' or 'homosexuality', rather he referred to 'gender' and to the Creator's plan for human sexuality as being in life-long marriage between one man and one woman.

Let`s just divide the God and god-less and get it on !?
“Let`s just divide the God and god-less and get it on !?”
I’ll leave that to someone above my pay grade :)

Yeah, read and noted...
Do you have anything of any real substance to contribute? You know, something that generates more than two or three responses.
I’m proud to be on his side of the argument. We may lose the battle, but we will run a good race and eternity will have it’s rewards. Eternity is a very, very long time.
Our Holy See is only trying to show those with ears to hear that personal pleasure is not the way to Heaven. More often than not, indulging personal pleasures is the way to Hell.
But, fewer ears are willing to hear the truth because it means personal sacrifice and that is against everything that our secular self-indulgent society teaches today.
How about Free Republic canceling it’s subscription to Catholic Online?
How about if the Pope addresses a really destructive lifestyle...like radical islam, where they raise up children to wrap themselves in bombs and kill innocent people as a goal, as one’s purpose in life, and the way to the great reward in their twisted version of the after-life?
The Pope did address the satanic cult that is Islam when he quoted Michael Paleologus (the 13th century Byzantine Emperor) “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached. God is not pleased by blood - and not acting reasonably is contrary to God’s nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats... To convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm, or weapons of any kind, or any other means of threatening a person with death...”
so this Pope hits out at the enemies of God: athiestic lifestyles, homosexual-glorifying lifestyles and Islam
How about if the Pope addresses a really destructive lifestyle...like radical islam, where they raise up children to wrap themselves in bombs and kill innocent people as a goal, as ones purpose in life, and the way to the great reward in their twisted version of the after-life?He would have to prove that Christianity is true and Islam is false.
Because they lost out on Proposition 8 and are therefore feeling tempermental.
