First, it was the disclosure of the contributors to her husband’s charitable organizations, then a rollback in salary for her new job because of an obscure clause in the Constitution, and now as Hillary Rodham Clinton prepares to make the transition from senator to secretary of state, she has written off a $13.1 million loan of her own money to her presidential campaign.
According to fillings with the Federal Election Commission, Mrs. Clinton forgave a total of $13,175,000 in personal funds that she lent to her campaign during the Democratic primary, plus interest.
Even so, Mrs. Clinton still owes millions to vendors, including her former top strategist, Mark Penn. Mr. Penn’s remaining fees represent the single biggest line item on the list of the senator’s unpaid debts, amounting to more than $5.3 million of almost $6.4 million remaining on the books as of the end of November.

The state department will take on an aura of a Hapsburg Palace with the queen bee buzzing around her 1/4 acre office acting like a secretary of state.
Hitlery won't disgrace the office any more than her predecessors have. The only thing I wonder is where her squeeze, Whoami Abeddin, going to be domiciled?

I expect before the year 2009 is out, that this line will be used over and over again, when it comes to pushing forth the socialist agenda. Any "clause" that hinders the movement will be simply trashed and then accepted as the new norm. The fact that "records" can be sealed, from birth to education to political and social activities from the American public when electing a President should give you an idea of what will be the new norm.
The so-called Progressives (newspeak for communist fascists) will beat us over the head with our Constitution until it is FINALLY broken to pieces and the angry populace finds a leader and then comes the revolution.

Too bad these people can't see fit to put their star power and name recognition to good use, like raising money for truly needy people and/or worthy causes.
Hard to feel sorry for the woman with $100 million in the bank who tried to bulldoze her way (back) to the White House.
I don’t think it will drive her to the poorhouse. We still don’t know whether Marc Rich actually gave to Clinton from the $250 million he had established as the fund to get his pardon.
