6. Then there’s the woman who knows that if her husband truly wanted sex, he’d have taken out the trash and helped with the dishes.

Last night when I got home from work my wife wasn't feeling good. She has a condition called fibromyalga. When it's cold, or there is precipitation coming, or it's windy, it really affects her.
She had spent most of the day with a friend that recently had a kidney transplant taking her to the doctor.
Once I got home I fixed dinner, brewed the pitcher of tea, juiced a gallon of fresh fruit juice, and cleaned up the mess.
I didn't do it in hopes of having sex.
I did it because I love her.

I have Lupus which affects my joints as well as my kidneys. Some days are more difficult than others, but I have a wonderful husband who is there loving and caring all the way. Thank God for husbands like you and my dearest.

There is a key element to that Joe. You did it because you love her. Many women never experience that. Their men will do that stuff as payment for sex. I know it is a fine line. It gets done either way, but it makes a huge difference as to how it is perceived, and if you are doing those things with an ulterior motive in mind it just doesn’t work. You have to love her....period, be affectionate....period. If you do those two things you will have sex about anytime you want it.

I think that's great! Did you, by chance, have older sisters? My brother was the youngest of five, and the only boy. When his wife, who didn't work, was pregnant, he would come home after working ten hours and cook because the smell of cooking food made my sister in-law sick. Until she started working she had no idea how special she had been treated. One day she and I were talking about how my brother could do, would do and did do anything and everything around the house. I told her the credit belong to my older sister and me. We made sure, as I did with my daughter, that he would never take the work of others for granted, or treat their spouse/children as a servants, the way his father had treated our mother and us. I also wanted to make sure that my daughter would never have to stay with a man because she could not support herself.
