[history]
Bernard Madoff, the investment fund manager and former Nasdaq chairman accused of a Ponzi scheme in which investors allegedly lost up to $50 billion, is a major contributor to Democratic causes, and his company spent almost $600,000 to curry favor in Washington, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

I was waiting to see if anyone would notice who Madoff was funding. Madoff can be if the Republicans want him to be the Democrats Abramhoff.

Let’s see if Madoff was as smart as Ken Lay of Enron at protecting his stolen assets.

Madoff can be if the Republicans want him to be the Democrats Abramhoff. The media will ignore that side of the crime. They will focus on the need for more govt control of the financial mkts. The only consolation is that a great many left wing "non-profits" and "charities" lost great sums of money making it that much harder for them to destroy this country.

No shock to me.
That was my prediction on DAY 1 of the Madoff Affair.
NO, I'm not psychic.
I just have learned how liberal folks think and act.

Yes they will that is why the GOP should make it a case. Smarmy Schumer never shies away from calling press conferences to lambaste Republicans. I want to know when we started thinking that we should expect the press to make our case for us? They are liberals. We are conservatives. This is war.

As expected, nary a peep from the MSM. You can bet your bottom dollar that if Madoff sent $100k to the RNC, the headline would be splashed on the front page above the fold on the Old Gray lady for weeks on end.

Every single democrat congressman needs to be investigated. Republicans that are dirty should be investigated as well. I’m sick of the corruption in this country.
To: Maelstorm
Gee. It only took the MSM two weeks to figure it out.
To: TommyDale
Where is the outrage over Madoff from the people who were outraged at Ken Lay?
Who stole the most?

The only difference between this turd and the ones in office are this one uses greed whilst the other ones use a bayonet.....
To: dandiegirl
Me too. Every politician in office needs to be thrown out. That’s why that one particular scene in “Independence Day” where the Capitol Building is blown away makes me so happy. That seems to be the only way to clean house in this country.

The mainstream media’s outrage and 24/7 coverage of the huge Democratic donations, similar to the ongoing drama about Ken Lay and the Enron scandal of a few years ago...Hollywood movies, CNN specials, Congressional hearings...
Here is the news story from ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN:
