Reacting to press reports that retiring GOP Rep. Ray LaHood is the likely nominee for Transportation secretary, John McCain today commended Obama "for once again reaching across the aisle." McCain called LaHood "one of our country's finest public servants."
In a written statement, he said LaHood "has always fought for the best interests of our nation -- recognizing that bipartisan compromises often provide the best solutions to the problems facing our country."

MSNBC asking a republican for their opinion on anything means only one thing—they think he’s a RINO and they expect a “bipartisan” (liberal) answer.

Dr. Paul was dead on accurate when he said there was no difference between McCain or Obama. Too bad others couldn’t see it.

Senator, I think you need someone to reach across the aisle to clean up the oatmeal you drooled on your chin. Enough already, just go away.

“bipartisan compromises often provide the best solutions to the problems facing our country.”
This certainly seems to be McCain’s First Commandment.
The problem is that when Good compromises with Evil, the result isn’t Neutral; the result is Evil.
McCain’s Philosophy is also the basis for the Marxist Dialectic. In the end, a group will compromise itself down to the lowest, most vile denominator.

Hey McCain - drop dead.
Go away.
Assume room temperature.
Please.

John McCain, the only Republican besides Larry Craig that thinks a reach around is the way to be bipartisan
To: rabscuttle385
I know Ray LaHood. He is a quality person.
McCain, however, is a major league ass-clown.
To: rabscuttle385
Coming out of the grocery store earlier I saw a bumper sticker that had obviously said “McCain/Palin” previously, but the owner had cleanly removed the McCain part... so it just said Palin. I laughed and told the guy I loved his bumper sticker!

True. But there was also no difference on foreign policy between the Doc and Dennis Kookcinich.

LaThug is quality nothin’. The enforcer for the RINO wing of the IL Combine, he was charged to take down Sen. Peter Fitzgerald. The False Messiah owes him for clearing a path to the White House.

And, to think some here on FR, a little over a month ago, were jumping all over someone who thought McCain was a joke...
