My wife was picking up steaks at Whole Foods yesterday. There was some author signing her children’s books- “How Aiden Saved the World From Global Warming.” We both got a good chuckle out of that- it was like a parody of Whole Foods.

In some of my childhood "stuff", I recently found a nearly-full book of "War Bond Stamps" (or whatever we called them back then). I can't help but wonder which is greater: the redeemable value or the collector's item value...
Actually, I intend to keep them as a remembrance of when "American" and "Patriot" were synonymous...
