Too bad his show is scheduled for the same time Rush is on. Fred, I love ya, guy—but there’s no way you’re going to make a dent in Rush’s audience.

The show will replace The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly when the program ends its successful six-year run on February 27, 2009.If its so successful, then why is it going off the air?

Way to cash in on a piece of the conservative pie, Fred.
Think you can stay awake?

The competition will be good for Rush. Anytime Rush starts droning on about golf or cigars there will be an instant flood to Fred. Thank goodness! Let’s face it, sometimes Rush is boring. Reeeealy boring! Turn off the radio unbearably boring!
Rush isn’t the only great conservative mind out there. Fred will be great as soon as he gets his sea legs on the airwaves. Fred will also probably have a lot of interesting guests while Rush seldom does.
I predict Rush will welcome Fred as healthy competition! Rush will rise to the occasion and so will Fred!

Let’s face it, Rush may be brilliant, but he is not a grown-up. Fred is.
I want to hear what Fred has to say for a change.

Westwood One is pleased to announce the debut of The Fred Thompson Show on March 2, 2009. The show will replace The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly when the program ends its successful six-year run on February 27, 2009.
I don't get O'Reilly here, so I hope they replace Hanitty or Savage with Fred.

Having never heard Bill O’Really on any radio on purpose I welcome Fred to the airwaves. Now who will replace Hannity? I will dream big and hold out hope for Thomas Sowell.

The same insurmountable problem that BOR had. Nobody can compete with Rush Limbaugh.

Yay! They replay BOR here in the evenings so, hopefully, they will do the same with FT.

I like Fred , but you will know his radio show will fail if he needs a co-host like BOR and Scarborough .

Not a time-slot I can take advantage of, no AM at work with so much concrete.
Bummer.
