This will NEVER get the press it deserves. Congress will have no hearings or demand they drive (in Chevy Cobalts) to D.C. for hearings.

Onaway Michigan is not on-the-way to anywhere. It is about an hour off the road that leads up to Mackinac and three hours away from the nearest UAW plant in Saginaw.
It is around the first knuckle of the index finger of the mitten, in the middle of nowhere. Somebody made a pretty penny on this real estate. I wonder who?

To understand the UAW hey need o know who founded it, and why they still celebrate him. I noticed in the article that the Walter and Mary Reuther Family education center is the name of their retreat. To understand what that education is about, check out who Walter Reuther was. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Reuther

The 1,000 acre golf club is a first-class, 1,000 acre, environmentally conscious course..."Gee, no kidding; who'd have thunk.....a thousand-acre golf course that's......well......a thousand acres.
"Department of Redundancy Department.....how may I help assist you today?"

A Super Duper Socialist of course. This smacks of the old Soviet Union, where the well-heeled had their own dachas on the lake.
They make me sick. Welcome to the Hussein era.

Somebody made a pretty penny on this real estate. I wonder who?Somebody shrewd enough to name it "The Walter and May Reuther Family Education Center". Makes it sound like a south Chicago store-front community center.
