COLUMBUS, Ohio -- An Ohio pilot who died in a small plane crash was a Republican media consultant who helped operate campaign Web sites for President Bush and former presidential nominee John McCain.
Forty-five-year-old Michael Connell of Akron was killed Friday when his plane crashed near a vacant house in a rural area of Uniontown, about 10 miles southeast of Akron. He was attempting to land the aircraft at the nearby Akron-Canton Airport.
Connell was the CEO and founder of Cleveland-based New Media Communications, which built campaign Web sites for Bush and McCain, according to the company's Web site. The site says the company also worked with the Ohio Republican Party, the Republican National Committee and other political groups.

After the bashing McCain gave to Palin last week, I believe McCain had a hit ordered on one of his advisers because of his lose of the presidential bid.
I don’t believe I used that word; its not one in my usual vacabulary. The Admin mod asked if I was one! I asked him to review my homepage and previous postings and make his own determination on that front. He decided I was ok, thank goodness! lol

I guess I must be a wee bit dense as well, I honestly was not sure if “Kook comment” meant:
“How dare you call people that have any questions about the circumstances of this crash a kook, we question strange timings of deaths all the time here, try bringing up any old Ron Brown thread as an example.”
or
“How dare you bring up kooky leftwing theories with no basis in fact when we are simply reporting the passing of a good and decent man. Try not to be a mouthpiece for discredited 9-11 truther type websites.”
Not trying to start trouble, just saying that sometimes peoples meanings are not always easy to figure out.
Yes, I do know. Thank you. I’m the one who private msg’d the Admin Mod to pull this same thread that I posted. Since my thread with its replies was pulled and couldn’t be referenced, it took a little reflection and reconstructing to realize that my initial comment is what JR and the mod were referring to. I did not know that angle of the story was inappropriate for discussion. How many times do I have to apologize? My condolences to the gentleman’s family also.
