"...That would be up to him to figure that out.”

Love when thugs try to sound philosophical.

While refusing to call for Blagojevich to step down, Daley did say that the state faces “major” economic problems, and that an executive shouldn’t be “distracted.”

What a turd.

"We got problems, so never mind the bribery, fraud, corruption, greed, malfeasance, and treason against integrity. I mean, WE GOT PROBLEMS!"

Once you’re distracted, then it hurts anyone in government.”

I see the idiot mayor of that cesspool to my East has decided to weigh in.

Personally, I am not in favor of removing him from office. The longer this goes on the better. Besides, the folks who voted for him should be saddled with him. Teach them a lesson.

But Daley scoffed at the idea that the next senator could be former Gov. Jim Edgar — the only Illinois chief executive of the last three who hasn’t faced criminal charges.

“He’s a Republican. He can be appointed by his governor,” Daley said, laughing. “Truthfully. The Democrats won it. It’s a Democratic seat.”

In other words, "Democrats only represent Democrats. Let him be appointed by HIS governor, not OURS."

The “right decision” per Daly. Hahahahaha.
