He doesnt regret destroying the party he was the leader of, or democrats victory. But dont worry, still a few to the death believers here.

The Bush-bots here will say GWB is JUST being responsible by killing capitalism with bailouts, but when Obama finishes the job it will be Marxism, Problem is the rest of voters wont use their twisted logic, dooming republicans again. Then once again it will be all the media and the anti-Bush conservative turncoats fault again.

President Jorge W. Bush is leaving with one of the lowest approval ratings in the history of numbers.

Few have worked as hard to earn it, the complete incompetent man!!

W did great damage to capitalism with his extremely poor economic leadership. The bailouts are his futile attempt to clean up the resulting mess.

The economic maneuvers over the past two months has effectively set the table for the incoming marxist regime. It is a most unfortunate development for us, and will only assist them in achieving their Marxist goals.

Nationalizing these various industries in 2008 also makes the opposition to “Socialism!” less of a battlecry against Odumbo and his thugs/henchmen. It’s already being put in place before he takes office.

He kept the U.S. from being attacked again.

Period.

Liberals are supposed to be the ones that blame bush for everything. Get real, the RNC has been destroying itself for years now. Election after election after election of ‘The lessor of 2 evils’ all across the country destroyed the GOP.

In politics, you lose. There are times when only Jesus could save you from disaster, and we didn’t have him.

There was no way in hell we would have won, even with Romney or Fred Thompson.

It still would have been a disaster.

You get over and move on.

Life continues. The sun is still out.

And frankly, there was really nothing Bush could have done to try to win the election for us. He did the right thing by sitting on the sidelines.

Jorge: shut up. Get out and join the Klinton and Karter Klan. You too could win a Nobel Peace Prize.

Bush said that his "biggest regret" was that he and his team got the intelligence wrong in Iraq.

And why didn't heads roll for the fake, trumped-up intel??

This clown and his co-conspiring neocon globalist elitist RINO clowns are FOS.

Bush "destroyed" capitalism by doing what some people wanted all along. Now those people are blaming the capitalists for what they wanted in the first place.

note: I am not defending Bush's "destruction" of capitalism.

I'm no Bush-bot, but I'll say that he was better than Carter.

And make no mistake about it, a large part of the Bush-bashing that has been and will be is designed to shift focus from Jimmy Carter as THE worst president in US history. They are doing this so that people do not think immediately of Carter as Obammie the Commie, the boy wonder, affirmative-action president begins putting into place his stupid socialist/communist agenda.

At least Bush won two terms. Carter got blown out of the water after his first term. Approval numbers mean less than the bitch-slapping Reagan gave Carter and that Carter deserved.

So, though I won't defend Bush on the homefront, whenever anyone bashes him, my stock response is, “Carter is the worst president in US history BECAUSE of his socialistic, anti-American views. And Obama is just like Carter.”

I will never forgive Bush and his neocons.

After 9/11 Bush and the GOP could have done whatever they wanted. They could have abolished the welfare state, rolled back the Great Society, reformed the Judiciary, restored the constitution, closed the borders, and achieved the countless changes we want for our republic. The Democrats would not dare oppose them with the burning WTC still fresh in everyone conscientiousness, the GOP had a once in a century carte blanch to do whatever they wanted. The last time this happened was with Roosevelt after Pearl Harbor, and he made fundamental changes to our nation.

Instead of doing all the things conservatives dreamed off for many long decades, he wasted all the good will on the Iraq war and on expensive pet projects in GOP senators home states. The border was never closed, the welfare state prospered and grew under Bush (Clinton was more fiscally conservative), no fundamental changes or restorations were made to our republic.

You want Bush’s legacy? I got five letters for you OBAMA. George Bush spent eight years preparing the nation to elect its first open socialist for President.

Some day, the greatness of President GW Bush will be acknowledged by all.

He prevented further terrorist attacks on the US homeland after 9/11. The attack of 9/11/2001 was Not His Fault, it was the fault of the Democrats who held the White House for 8 years before President Bush took power.

President Bush has given America almost uninterupted ecnomic prosperity. He helped overcome the Democrat caused recession of 2001, and gave us 7 years of uninterrupted job growth, until 2008. The current recession/depression is the fault of the Democrats who encouraged granting mortgages to unqualified borrowers.

All the other problems attributed to President Bush were caused by Democrats, including the New Orleans disaster, which was due to the incompetence of Democratic city and state governments in Louisiana.

President Bush is a Great President and will be recognized as one of America’s greatest presidents some day.

W gets an A+ (from me) for keeping us safe. He gets a A for the tax breaks. The rest of his grades are Ds and Fs (IMHO).

He claimed to be the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan, but in the end proved to be another big government, big spender. He lacked strong communication and leadership skills, which are essential to the job. In many ways, he tried to be too many things to too many people and, in the end, nobody really knew what he stood for anymore.

When you lack a strong compass, it's easy to lose yourself in the stormy seas.

Bush refused to fight back. Ergo, he’s a loser by default. Spending like a drunken Liberal hasn’t helped either.
