I don’t know too many people that would enjoy sitting around day after day getting drunk, what kind of life is that? Not one I want to lead.

“Man .....I wish I had a job like that.”

Hope you’re just missing sarc tags.

I don’t.

I love an ice cold beer, but by any decent person’s standards those dudes are cheats, liars and drunks. They also probably shouldn’t be behind the wheel of a vehicle.

What a bunch of do nothing free-loaders!

Doubt it. Try mining, high steel or tower maintenance, other.

I’m not condoning it, but the saying goes that you aren’t paid for what you do, it’s for what you put up with.

I met my good friend's nephew for the first time last week because he is a firearms afficionado. He is a "Tinsmith" and affiliated with a union. He has also been on layoff for a few months now.

When I mentioned to him that I might be able to turn him on to a "contracting" employer, he informed me that because he belongs to this union he can not accept any non-union job working in his trade. If he does, they will nail him by making him pay back all monies associated with training him and can even take his pension away from him.

He was once an official with his union and had even taken an active stand to have an ex-supervisor in this union who was working non-union, penalized and forced to repay the union over $18,000.00...........
