In terms of economical growth and political sanity, the temperature is close to the freezing point over here (although our present Conservative-dominated government has lowered taxes, weakend the unions while maintaining quite a lot of support from the public).
From a meteorological point of view however, I wouldn’t mind more of REAL winter.
Most of us Swedes will not enjoy a white Christmas this year, which is disappointing as traditional Scandinavian winters are exceptionally beautiful.
But, at least there will be glögg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulled_wine#Gl.C3.B6gg)!
