It would be like standing armpit deep in raw sewage.

Protest in your living room. There’s going to be upwards of 5 million lunatic lefties in and around DC for the inauguration. Those people aren’t as nice as we are and they’re not tolerant of dissenting views.

I’ll be protesting in my den, one shot of whiskey at a time.

Let them have their day. Nothing was more annoying then to have them there on Jan. 2000 and 2004.

I was going to drive up from Georgia, but I am thinking that it might be BETTER to do something AFTER the inauguration and fill any free time right NOW writing our Senators and Representatives and asking them to vote NO on any proposed bills that Barry O’ wants to sign on 1/20/09 giving him too much power over and without any committee hearings and reports. It’s an end around to change the way the USofA Congress does business and it has NO place in our political system.

See or Listen to archived podcast of 12/16/08 interview at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/HeadingRight/ASKShow and read article here: http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/12/obamas_end_run_around_congress.html

SINCE FR has had a good reputation with DC police in the past, if we stage a respectable FReep later in the year, WE will have the attention of the Media . . . because on inauguration day, ALL the Media will be fawning over Barry O’. And I am sure the police will truly appreciate our NOT being in the MOBS on inauguration day.

What say others?

If a FReep is held later in the year, then I’m in. I’m coming up in mid March (my Dad turns 86) . . . Cherry Blossom time?

I don’t this any public display would be in good taste for that one day. Just take the day off and go skiing or swimming or to a movie.

Remember all good news will start on that day from the MSM on how O saved the country 2009 will be a wonderful year.

Don’t even THINK about it. The city is going to be so overcrowded that day. There’s not enough food, not enough portajohns, not enough Metro trains, and the roads will all be closed.

it would be somewhat sill to allow the DBM to portray conservatives as kooks by providing an easily manipulated vidual image.

I’ll be protesting by not watching or listening to ANY media about the ‘coronation’.

I, and my 10-year-old daughter at the time, made the mistake of going to the Clinton inauguration. It was like experiencing Dante's first ring of hell...and, when “Read My Lips” Bush rode by in his limo up Pennsylvania Ave to the capitol, there was an attempted respectful applause from some in the crowd that was drowned out by the majority of “boos”. I will truly hate to see what happens to “Mission Accomplished” Bush—probably shoes and rotten fruit hurled at his motorcade; plus perhaps a stomping for those who try to demonstrate against the anointed one.

Let the dogs have their day.

I guarantee you inauguration day will be the peak of their delirium.

Like an hourglass flipped over onto its other side, the enthusiasm for Zero will slowly drain away once the extent of his socialist policies become apparent.

Time is on our side now, and the dims have everything to lose.

DC is going to resemble Dante's Hell on Inauguration Day. Protest would be pointless.

I think a recent letter from Operation Rescue mentioned that they plan to attend with their Truth Trucks. Lots of luck to them; I expect they'll be prevented from getting anywhere near, which is probably just as well.

Wait until later. We’d be overwhelmed anyway and I don’t want any part of this. I’ll talk a long walk that day..

The best protest is stay home and don’t shop.
Let the merry Obamites spend us out of the depression their marxist street rat and his advisors are welcoming as an oportunity to expand their power.

I wouldn’t even try it, considering how difficult it will be just to get into and move around DC that day.

I think it best to leave the hijinx and hilarity to the messianic noOb’s supporters. I predict strange things will happen that day. Spinal Tap might re-unite and Oprah may spontaneously combust ;o)
