Okay, maybe I can understand Minnesotans electing Jessie Ventura since he was mildly entertaining....but Al Franken? How could he get enough votes to come close to challenging Coleman? The man is looney tunes.

I'd like to think that we're going to get our act together the easy way and restore the rule of law, that our political leaders will voluntarily make the responsible choice to follow the Constitution. That seems to be becoming increasingly unlikely. I hope they will re-read Thomas Jefferson's words before they take the final steps in stealing yet another election, before they take any additional steps in stealing massive amounts of taxpayer dollars for a "bailout" to big donors, and before they further attempt to infringe on the right to keep and bear arms, which is both a natural right and the final protection against their excesses.

We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal;
that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights;
that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness;
that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed;
that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

We all know what Thomas Jefferson would say about the democrats of today and what they call a government. I wonder if today's democrats know that they do not rule by the divine right of kings, contrary to the entitlement attitudes of Hillary, Pelosi, Teddy/Caroline Kennedy and their clan, Obama, and their big donors.

They haven’t counted the Franken challenges that he rescinded yet. Wait till then to cry. There are several hundred ballots that Franken had originally challenged that have yet to be counted.

I suspect the FBI is investigating this scheme and will let it play out until they have the bandits. They are free and reckless in their deceit.

I'm hoping to see the lot of them cuffed and stuffed.

The Dems always steal these close elections. They are still pissed the Supremes stopped them from stealing Florida in 2000.

Let's not forget that the Dems lost 7-2 on the key vote. By focusing strictly on 4 Democrat counties, the Democrats violated the Equal Rights clause.

Facts can be a real bee-yotch.

Due to the timidity of Pawlenty and Coleman, I've moved on. The Senate deserves the misery they will get with Al Franken as one of the 100. Getting to 60 votes is a moot point, as the Democrats will be able to count on John McCain crossing the aisle. There are several other RINOs that will back down as well.

Hell, let Caroline have Hillary's seat! That will drive Schumer up the wall! Caroline will be the media equivalent of a black hole in the Senate. NO ONE in the media will give two cents about the other 99. CNNNBCCBSPMSMBC will become the 24/7/365 Caroline Kennedy channel.

The Republican Party strikes me as having the same mindset of the idiot blond in every horror movie. When the power goes out and a few of your friends have already been killed, she decides its time to take a shower.

We've seen it before many times and it always happens the same way. On election night the Dems hold up vote counting in their areas until the Republican areas have all turned in their counts so they can see how many votes they need. If they don't have enough, they creatively recount until they are ahead and then quit. It is the same every election and the Stupid Party never, ever learns.
