“As a native Louisianian, I can tell you that political corruption was not invented or perfected in Texas.”

Oh, I know plenty about La. politics. My mother is from New Orleans and lives in Thibodaux now.

It’s time for Minnestotans to revolt and take back their highjacked government. This election is a fraud perpetrated against the citizens of Minnesota. To count the same votes twice and find trunks filled with missing ballots is an outrage.

I’m looking at a lot of these Coleman-challenged ballots. They have clear marks for fecAl and no one else, so I’m not seeing why they were challenged in the first place. Am I missing something here?

By continuing to kick the can down the road, the final reckoning will be much worse and far uglier for everyone.

History shows this to be, sadly, true.

Can someone write me a positive/motivational response?

Sure. Repeat after me: "I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and dog-gone it, people like me."

There. You should be all set.

"even when 50% of the voters in question split for the republican candidate ‘eh?"

No, then you could not make such a presumption. Regarding MN et al, however, you can.

I think that a number of those ballots are actually unclear elsewhere, such as in the presidential vote. I think I saw one where Franken was very clearly marked, but then there was also something unreadable written in the write-in area.

Are there any balls left in the Republican Party?!

I'm in the process of coining a new phrase today. Please feel free to utilize at will (I know Will won't like it though). The phrase..."Empty Sac Republicans or ESR's." The term "RINO" is so 2000-2008.

Exactly, a lot of people don’t realize that Minnesota does NOT like Coleman....he has created a bad rep here and Franken was a “lesser of 2 evils”. What people never see behind the scenes is that he’s a communist!

The people of Minnesota spoke but all Franken needed was a boost from lib morons to steal the election.

S.O.S.

Norm should have supported drilling ANWR.

snowmobiles and tractors and trucks don’t run on hot air, yaknow.

one more RMSP member on the ropes? a silver lining, I guess and we get another dufus (like we need more) in the Senate.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

Actually it shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that things ARE "out of control" and there is NO LEADERSHIP on many, many different levels.

I was speaking about the voters in question regarding the race in question. And before you go there, I know that 16% of the vote went for the Indie, I’m talking about the two major candidates (D and R), which is why we have a recount to begin with (an almost exact split of total votes for the two major party contenders caused this). I believe the margin was somewhere near 300 votes.

I’d say that’s damn close to 50%...

I didn’t vote for any of the D mooks, so you can take your little assumption and make an ass out of you and numption - keep me out of it!

"This is a state that had a socialist like Wellstone as its Senator for years."

Entire states full of nothing but stupid socialists.

Correction: S T U P I D S O C I A L I S T S

With entire states that we have to re-educate, I think we're in a world of hurt.

Behind the 8-ball.

Up a creek without a paddle.

Up to our lower lips in a river of $hit.

When I worked for the railroad, they used to camp us in Schriever which is a mile or so from Thibodaux. We used to like buying fresh vegetables from the homes along Hwy 1 during the spring and summer. The gardeners would do things like hang long fresh strings of garlic on their fences to get your attention.

isn’t the State the # 1 employer in nearly every state?

I have no idea, but you could be right. I DO think that in most states, government jobs have grown more than any in the private sector.

Franken moved into the lead by at 9:16. I’m surprised they didn’t immediately quit counting and say the recount was now over.

"Am I missing something here?"

Yup.

Coleman has challenged those ballots because there are no other votes cast.

Considering there were some other issues on the ballot, they are highly suspect.

"What? we were supposed to vote for Obamination, too?" "Gimme dat ballit back, I's not dun wif it."

Looking at the challenge totals, as noon, EST, of those challenges resolved, it shows:

Challenged by Coleman — 638
Challenged by Franken — 414

After the 400 Coleman challenges were lifted, that’s how Franken made up the difference yesterday.

So, that would leave an additional 300+ more Franken challenges over the remaining Coleman ones still to be adjudicated.

Does this not make Franken’s current lead just a temporary one, then?
