What we know and learn about our country during our lifetime we get from media reports; what happened before we were born we learned through the history books we read in school.
Knowing the truth about what goes on in the United States today is difficult because our media is increasingly biased and often dishonest. As it turns out, American history textbooks, both old and new, are inaccurate and biased, too, and some of what we thought we knew is false.

It's ridiculous but to be expected what is finding itself in textbooks. When they actually start including 9/11 conspiracies, etc. what can you do? We now have agenda driven education.
It's time to start looking into private schools again.

Nothing to look at here folks, move along. We wouldn't want Squealer to send for Napoleon and his dogs now would we? Remember Comrades; Four legs good, two legs bad. No doubt Farmer Jones has chosen to sneak in under cover of darkness and mess with the truth.

That’s hilarious. Maybe that’s where all the textbooks are getting their information. They just go to Google and type “World War II” and see what they learn. lol.

A new book by Larry Schweikart, a professor of history at the University of Dayton, details some of this in 48 Liberal Lies about American History.

I need to read Animal Farm again. It may come in handy navigating the next four to eight years, especially.

Thanks. Still time for me to get that on my Christmas list if my wife is willing to pay for improved shipping.

Thanks. My book is doing really, really well. It's already in 5th printing (getting to 5th printing much faster than my best-seller, "A Patriot's History of the United States").
Moreover, it looks like I might be on "Fox and Friends" yet again next week. We'll see. Meanwhile I turned down an appearance on Al-Jazeera TV (did one last month), as I'm just out of time.

I did, that was when I started to wonder who was going to come out of the woodwork as Napoleon and depose Snowball.

Who are these nameless and faceless writers? Textbook production is ‘big’ business, but how does one find out who are the actual behind the keyboard word smiths?
How many people are we talking about that write these textbooks?

That’s a very, very good point.

I'm surprised that Social Darwinism is never mentioned. It so widely accepted by American intellectuals and gave cover to the racism that led to American Imperialism of the late 1800’s early 1900’. Cover for the sexism that kept women form voting, and was the intellectual underpinnings of Nazi beliefs about race.
I assume it is left out because after seeing how Darwin was so wrong about EVERYTHING else he ever wrote about, kids might begin to doubt his theory of evolution, the Apostle's Creed of the left.

Thanks. Next fall, my history of American business and the American economy, called “The Entrepreneurial Adventure,” which is out of print, will appear under a new title, completely revised, updated, shortened, and with new material from a co-author. I don’t know the title yet. It will appear from Amaco Press, not Sentinel, as most of my other books.

Thats a very, very good point. There is safety in invisibility. They should be outed. I have met one such writer, however, I do not know who the employer is. Since the Ayres education underground ponzi scheme was exposed I would like to discover who these people are.

To anyone interested in American history, go down to the local library, ask the librarian where the local history section is, and read the diaries and early writings of the settlers in your area. The scales will fall from you eyes when you find out what it really took to settle this country. Our ancestors were tough!
