Florida police investigating the disappearance of Caylee Anthony say they are re-interviewing a county water meter reader who earlier this month discovered what likely are the girl's remains, but they deny that the person is a suspect in the girl's death.
The worker found bones Dec. 11 near the Orlando home where then 2-year-old Caylee lived with her mother and maternal grandparents. He also had called in a tip to police on Aug. 11, 12 and 13, telling them to look in the same are for the remains, police said.
Orange County Sheriff's officials say they believe the unidentified tipster was in the area on Dec. 11 following up on his own tip when he discovered the remains.

I have some red flags going up here...
Greta discussing it now...
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this reminds of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment” (that I had to read in high school) where the guilty party couldn’t stand being guilty.
Odd development ping
Seems to me that the wide swath of the bone field indicates that animals moved them, doesn’t it?
Is it confirmed they’re all human? Because animals have to die someplace.
The guy reported the cops did not follow up..
I am sure he went home every night waiting for the news to say a body has been found in the woods..
The police are at fault here..
Protect and serve my ass....
It would be a tragedy if the mom, if guilty, got off cause of a mistake by the cops. I assume the mom is guilty because of her behavior.
Well, FWIW, I’d wait to see if those remains are indeed Caylee’s. As for the small bones, if that wooded area was a local pet cemetary, then some of those bones may not even be human and they’re gonna need an anthropologist and maybe even a taphonomist to sort it all out.
Me too. Funny, this comes out after Casey gets a dream team.
The day he just happens to take that leak, Casey’s with her lawyer and the grandparents are out of town. More coinkydinks, or should the cops be making sure the meter guy isn’t working for the defense...
Unless this guy and the mother were in on it together.
By staging the body [duct tape] it throws everybody off and you start thinking Adam Walsh instead of Susan Smith.
This body was meant to have been discovered months ago.
What a guy won’t do for sex and love....
A gift to the Defense lawyers.
This guy will be tried by her Dream Team.
Yipes...the meter reader and the killer mother?
Casey will make millions on the book and movie rights and Greta will cover this for the next 3 years. ha.
I mind my own business and ignore any bodies I find.
>What a guy wont do for sex and love....<
You can same the same about women, especially teachers for some reason.
Richard Jewell, I believe.
I’d like to know who the deputy was on the third call. No one has mentioned that a deputy was fired from the department when it was learned he knew Casey very well, spent time with her and emails.
Well...you’re right. We’ve already established that she’s a sex addict...to have your dead child in the trunk while you’re out ‘hooking up’ with somebody.
This case is a weird one.
She ain’t getting off...
The cops do not follow up on every anon call.
I guess they are busy chasing gangbangers, drug pushers or going for doughnuts..
