Our family has been every year since 2001 with the exception of 2007 (had a newborn that year). I can’t wait for the March this year.
The March is such a great experience. If I can’t make the whole day, I usually go down at lunch to take in the event. I get to see lots of protests and marches and the difference between the march for Life and the others is staggering. The March is such a positive, upbeat experience!
We need to fight harder than ever now, and, of course, pray harder than ever.
If FReepers are there is there a way by which we might know each other? Red, white and blue carnations??
The March for Life is awesome!! If you have teenagers and young people get them out for this event.
IT WILL CHANGE THEIR LIVES!
I used to teach at a suburban Catholic school and we got a bus down to DC and it was a wonderful experience for the kids. There is a youth Masss at the Verizon Center, which will be packed to the walls (about 25 k) with young Catholics and Christians. I never met that many people at the same place and the same time and had such a friendly and cordial experience.
I hope to see you all down there! Every year is great, but I think this is a particularly important year.
