Well, as someone noted on FOX the other evening, there was NO mention of Blago’s political affiliation by any of the major news networks or cable news shows.
Half of the country probably thinks Blago is a Republican and all (R) officials are corrupt - at least according to the DBM.

Exactly. My brother noticed that immediately and came to the same conclusion.
Even though I understand how they operate it still amazes me that they are attempting to attach Blago to the Republican Party, so R's are further damaged and dems come out smelling like a rose.

Last week I saw two NYT columnists discussing the Blago affair, and the two articles between them comprised about 40 paragraphs. The word "Democrat" did not appear in either story. It is impossible - impossible - to imagine a story about a corrupt Republican without the word "Republican" being mentioned two or three times, and with the implication that the corruption is not an isolated incident but is somehow characteristic of the entire party.
