The term “Merchant Banker” is known around the English-speaking world for rhyming slang. The word it replaces, to use its closest and politest equivalent in American, is “jerk-off”. Canadians, Australians, Brits, Irish, South Africans... doesn’t matter where you go, English-speaking people get the joke straight away. Bankers ARE jerk-offs.
These degenerate golf-playing muppets might be marginally more use to the rest of society than the average degenerate welfare scrounger, but we could’ve kept ten million degenerate welfare scroungers fed and watered for a hundred years, and spent less money than it cost to keep these wasters in jobs. (Or playing golf).
If these idlers were on welfare you’d be screaming at them to go out and get a proper job instead of poncing off the state, but NO. They’re BANKERS, so they can be completely bloody pointless, state-funded, unproductive and STILL you give them the benefit of the doubt.
