I'd consider an award of the
Presidential Citizens Medal a big deal, but the whole weekend went by and I didn't hear a peep about this story in the MSM.

“I have seen Iraqi kids climbing on our soldiers and hugging them and kissing them,” Mr. Sinise said. “I have seen their smiling faces and their attempts to say ‘I love you’ in broken English. The folks I saw had hope in their eyes and gratitude in their hearts for what was done for them.”
THEY are the future of Iraq, NOT the shoe thrower “journalist” or al Qaeda

He won the Catholics In Media Award (CIMA)
Humanitarian Award in 2005 for his work in Iraq. During his speech, this very humble man spoke about how his wife was the catalyst behind everything he does. He thanked her for everything. He is the man he is because of her. Then he thanked his partner in the relief efforts and said that it was because of her that they were so successful. What a man!

There was a blind item the other day that is supposed to be about him (linked towards the bottom of the page
here):
This guy is an A list television star and probably B in films he has done. Probably not any higher than B list on name recognition though. Oh, he stars in one of those crime dramas. Anyway, for the past year he has just had his paychecks sent directly to various charities in the city where he films his show.

We saw the Lt.Dan band in 2005, the year my son went to the USNA. The Lt.Dan Band was giving a benefit concert. They were passable but the point is that they were doing the concert for the Military. Gary Sinise is a hero in my book if for nothing else but standing up against the tidal wave of Liberalism in Hollywood. I would love to see him go back to Chicago and run for the 0bama Senate seat. Go Lt.Dan!

A fine man. A fine actor. (Doesn’t hurt that he’s cute, as well!) Glad his service has been fittingly recognized.

Doggone, a bit of dust or smoke must have gotten in my eye when I read that story.
God bless and keep you Mr. Sinise.

Thank you for posting this. I heard the Lars Larsen show tonight and Andrew Breitbart mentioned this article.
Congratulations Mr. Sinise, well deserved.

I gotta start paying more attention to Andrew Breitbart and the Washington Times.
