Yes it does. According to the state department, the only thing a birth certificate needs is the following:

Read my post. I don't bother to question the legitimacy of the widely publicized short form. I don't care about the short form. I want to see the root document(s).

None of which is either essential or relevant to the question of whether he was born in Hawaii.

Nonsense, you can't mean that. When Obama shows a legitimate state form with a hospital name and the name of a real Hawaiian doctor and his signature, Certifigate vanishes. If he was born in Kenya, he will be unable to provide that documentation. It's very simple.

Because the short for is sufficient,

Sure it is. That's why "certifigate" has 153,000,000 Google hits. You are talking to yourself.

and he has better things to do than go digging for unnecessary documents to please tinfoilhatters like you.

Non-responsive with an ad hominem thrown in! So impressive. "He has better things to do" than to spend a few minutes resolving the question of his legitimacy to become president? No, actually the more likely reason that he has not asked Hawaii to release the root documents to the public, and the reason that he is spending a fortune contesting so many lawsuits, is that he does not want the documents released. I would be happy to be wrong about that.

Sorry, but I am out of time for tonight. If you have not read this thread, then please do so:

The tinfoilhatter would be genuinely interested to read about any errors you find in the article.

I don't care about the short form. I want to see the root document(s).

I see. So the short form is good enough for the state department to issue a passport, but it is not good enough for you. Too bad for you.

Nonsense, you can't mean that.

No it's not nonsense, and yes I mean it.

When Obama shows a legitimate state form with a hospital name and the name of a real Hawaiian doctor and his signature, Certifigate vanishes.

The only thing he needs to prove is that he was born on US soil. Of what possible relevance is the name of the hospital and doctor?

If he was born in Kenya, he will be unable to provide that documentation. It's very simple.

If he were born in Kenya, the state of Hawaii would not issue an offical certificate (or certification, if you prefer) that says he was born in Honolulu. It's very simple.

Sure it is. That's why "certifigate" has 153,000,000 Google hits.

Truth is not measured by Google hits.

The tinfoilhatter would be genuinely interested to read about any errors you find in the article.

Pretty much everything there has been answered here:
