The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected a second challenge to the presidency of Barack Obama, announcing today it denied an application for a stay or an injunction in a case from Connecticut.
The case brought by Cort Wrotnowski had been distributed for review by the court and apparently was considered during a conference of the justices Friday.
It met the same fate as an earlier case brought by Leo Donofrio and essentially challenged Obama on the same issue: allegations that dual citizenship based on a father who was a British subject and a mother who was an American minor disqualified him for office under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that presidents be "natural born" citizens.
As is its custom, the Supreme Court made no comment other than to post its decision:

It is really a sad state when the ‘top of the hierarchy’ will not even check to see if a candidate is constitutionally viable.

Writter claims the court can’t look at the issue until after Congress certifies the EC votes.
So the electoral college will vote today, not knowing for sure the status of Obamas citizenship and elegability. What a lowly state we have come to.
Its not going to go away.
Wishful thinking.
When the SCOTUS won’t do its Constitutionally chartered job, when the Congress ignores the will of the people and the POTUS is selectively deaf; When state and local elected government officials are mired in scandal and corruption, is there ANY doubt that our government is irrevocably broken??
Any doubt at all??
It’s not over! There are other cases filed with SCOTUS and in the State courts challenging Obama’s non citizenship.

Time to get the masses together, numbers always matter. File once case, millions of names.
Once again, as I’ve been saying all along...
The problem is...
Bush and the Bush Administration wants nothing to do with this issue, Vice President Cheney wants nothing to do or say about this issue, McCain and his previous campaign wants nothing to do with this issue, Governor Palin wants nothing to do with this issue and is looking forward to working with Obama, the Republican Party wants nothing to do with this issue, even Rush Limbaugh wants nothing to do with this issue, many other conservative websites want nothing to do with this issue, many here on Free Republic want nothing to do with this issue and (of course) the Democrats want nothing to do with this issue, along with Obama wanting nothing to do with this issue. Even the FBI wants nothing to do with it...
When you can get none of your own people in positions of authority to do something about the issue, you are *dead in the water*... And thats the way it is right now...
And now — today — US Supreme Court Denied... (with *no comment*)
We must push for laws in each state that a candidate's eligibility must be certified before being placed on the ballot. This must be done by an elected official of the state NOT A POLITICAL PARTY.
Wow. What a shocker./sarcasm
You tinfoil hatters will continue submitting cases, and SCOTUS will continue turning them down. The only thing you will have accomplished is to waste a lot of time.
Have fun.
The World Nut Daily thing is pretty snarky, why is that on the front page?
It’s dead, Jim.
The supremes should all be lined up put in public stocks and had rotten produce thrown at them.
I say that only because I can’t say what I’d really like to see happen to them all.
I never did read about the dismissal of Leo Donofrio ??
